Dr. Bankim Chandra Mandal is an Associate Professor in the School of Basic Sciences (Mathematics). His research is centered on Numerical Analysis, Scientific Computing, and Domain Decomposition Methods for solving complex PDEs. He has made significant contributions to the development and analysis of Waveform Relaxation (WR) methods, which are iterative algorithms designed for parallel computing to tackle Space-time PDEs.
